It adds that teacher feedback and group discussion element which he misses at times. The best part is "meeting" children from other parts of the world, and essentially having a global discussion!” -R.S., Saudi Arabia
We already loved his prerecorded Waldorf classes. Now my younger daughter has been part of his weekly live calls. Nicholas facilitates discussion and deeper inquiry into the various blocks of study. The live component is so fun and interesting and very meaningful to get to learn directly from Mr. Andrea and for my daughter to share this experience with other children her age from all over the world. Thank you Nicholas for masterfully sharing this amazing education and beautiful container for the children.” E.D., Colorado
gentle reminder of a holistic rhythm and nurturing balance of material for both the students and parents. Each lesson is complete with opening verses, music, mental math, movement and storytelling. My child is fully engaged, laughs and even has guidance in dealing with more difficult material. Mr. Andrea skillfully models enthusiasm, kindness and wisdom. As we explore Ancient civilizations, the videos give appropriate real life advice helping children navigate their surroundings. Mr. Andrea also promotes deep discussions between the students and the parents/teachers which is invaluable. My child has developed his skills in sculpture, drawings, comprehension and in writing compositions. Live classes are safe, engaging and enjoyable. They have given my child the opportunity to grow his sense of courage in communicating who he is and also allow him the opportunity to learn about the experiences of other children." -C.L., Colorado
with us and his siblings. We look forward to your other blocks and our daughter who’s in 4th to have you as a teacher.” -A.M., Massachusetts
prerecorded lessons and his Zoom classes. We began utilizing the prerecorded lessons about two and a half years ago. Instantly impressed by the holistic and truly anthroposophical nature of Mr. Andrea’s teaching, I initially harbored skepticism towards video lessons, as we had not previously employed this format for homeschooling. However, Mr. Andrea's unwavering dedication to the Waldorf philosophy, personalized approach, and holistic teaching methods are readily apparent and have not only facilitated our child's academic growth but also nurtured her emotional, social, and artistic development. Particularly cherished are the singing and rhythm exercises that our daughter enjoys immensely. Mr. Andrea is not merely a gifted educator who fosters an environment conducive to diverse viewpoints and fresh ideas; he is also a beacon of light, inspiring a love for learning, creativity, and compassion. We are grateful for his wisdom-filled lessons, which transcend the narrow confines of any specific subject matter being covered at the time. We wholeheartedly recommend his classes.” -C.S., Italy
our children and tell you in detail how wonderful this experience was for my daughter and me.
As you know, we live in Lebanon, and everyday life is impacted by the fact that we are surrounded by war and living amid chaos. Taken philosophically, the latter can have advantages, but, all in all, the situation keeps arousing in us fundamental and existential questions such as “What is the meaning of life?”; “What is the meaning of peace?”; “How do we effectively deal with stress?”; “How do we get to happiness?”; “Are we allowed to be happy when, a few km away, people are fighting for their existence?” and so forth.
Since the Lebanese Revolution, in October 2019, followed by Covid and social, economic, and political aftermaths, homeschooling has been the best thing that has happened to us. Because it empowered my daughter and me to live a sovereign life where our decisions are led by deep desires for happiness and seeing the good in the world.
The next best thing that has happened was you and the curriculum you offer! My daughter has found in you a mentor to whom she looks up. I am very happy for her to be in such a valuable relationship with her schoolteacher; one of a disciple to her master where care, creativity, and humanness underlay the act of learning. She has time and mental space as well as strong tools to think, research, play, experiment, and ponder and is given the opportunity to articulate her thoughts in a safe space.
Our conversations have become an even greater pleasure as she bridges what she learns with the world and real-life experiences. This, I believe, is the essence of what education and learning should be.
Your program provides a solid anchor and gives us precious keys enabling us to thrive and find meaning in our lives through a blend of spirituality and practical approaches. My daughter learns not only about academic subjects but also about mankind and life itself, in all its expressions.
The weekly Zoom sessions are a gift! She has found a beautiful community where, despite being spread across the globe, the children discover simple and meaningful ways to connect. I was filled with joy when one of her peers, from the other side of the world, reached out to become pen pals. It reminded me of my childhood when things moved at a slower pace and took a more natural time to develop and evolve, unlike instant messaging and instant everything in today’s world.
I believe she already expressed she wished for longer Zoom sessions filled with more discussion.
She is always eager to study and learn, and can hardly wait a week between a Zoom session and another. She enjoys every single bit of the curriculum and finds deep meaning in it. I don’t know of many children so excited about school!
The lessons are rich, and the lengths perfectly fit our need for flexibility.
So, for all that and your listening and your being, I want to express deep gratitude.” -C.M. Lebanon
lessons are amazing, they are so enriching. Music, movement, art and curriculum are blended together into a very interesting and inspiring lesson. The lessons stimulate the motivation for learning and invites thinking for oneself. The lessons contribute to the general development of the students. Mr Andrea speaks clear and lively and even though English is not our first language we can follow him quite well. Every block has a final quiz or essay to give the student the opportunity to show that what they have learned, completely without pressure. And following the lessons will provide the student with a beautiful main lesson book. We absolutely recommend these lessons for any homeschooled student in middle school.
The live classes Mr Andrea is offering are very inviting and enriching. It gives students opportunities to speak and debate about the things they have learned. The meetings are a safe and stimulating place for teenagers to learn how to express themselves. The skills they learn here are no doubt very valuable later in life! Mr Andrea is devoted and inspired and makes the effort to see each student and his/her needs.” -N.K., Belgium
with her has really stimulated her thinking, and we discussed it today in the car with her dad.” -B.M., Georgia
she has enjoyed his video lessons and loved all of his live zoom classes, including both the grades class meet-up and the Teen Empowerment class. She has also benefitted from his private math tutorials as well. I am grateful for all of his parent encouragement as well. I strongly recommend Enkindle Academy!” -T.P., South Carolina
