Homeschooling is a big decision, and being solely responsible for your child's education can be anxiety provoking. We've created this curriculum, so you don't have to worry any longer.
Enkindle Academy is an online platform for homeschool students, parents, and teachers. We offer homeschool enrichment through prerecorded and live classes. In many cases, they go together, although they can be done separately as well. The prerecorded classes also serve as templates for current teachers seeking inspiration on how to teach a certain block or subject.
Some of our offerings include:
• Main Lesson Curriculum Grades 5th - 8th (Pre-recorded)
Lessons on this site can be followed by students as whole lessons in and of themselves. It can also be helpful for homeschooling parents who need a new voice "outside the house" to teach their students. Often times, parents follow along because it's enriching and fun for them, too. In other cases, parents watch the videos and then deliver the lesson to their students. Schools use our lessons as training and continuing education for their teachers, making them appropriate also for educators.

We believe in a holistic-science-based approach to educating youth because when the right subject is brought in the right way at the right time, the student's heart sings. This universal stream, based on a penetrating understanding of human development, meets the student's soul needs right where they are. Thus inspired, the student is then motivated to unfold the individual stream of their unfoldment. They find themselves, and this self-knowledge is the basis of human health, happiness, and prosperity.

We have created a hybrid prerecorded and live interaction program that we feel works best to meet our students. Prerecorded lessons can be taken at your leisure, leaving the flexibility to explore a variety of topics as you feel called while also providing the nourishment of a homeschool enrichment academic curriculum.

We added the once/weekly live enrichment lessons after overwhelming request for live connection with students and teacher. This is enormously successful in enriching the content, giving students a chance to connect with peers internationally, and building deeper relationships with the teacher.
All of our lessons, whether prerecorded or live, include music, movement, speech, mental math, art, and academics.
This methodology is born from the holistic approach of Waldorf Education which naturally speaks to multiple-intelligences. In other words, there's something for everyone, here. Thus, students not only feel met in their own native way but also challenged to develop capacities that might be out of their comfort zone. In the process, they become more wholly themselves.

After working for years in the Waldorf School, Nicholas began to feel that more children needed to benefit from this education than could fit in a brick-and-mortar classroom. Concurrently, he was starting to teach teachers from around North America, and Cassie was looking for ways to bring her art education to the wider world.
Combining those factors with big changes in both public and private education led them to create Enkindle Academy as a way to support homeschoolers and teachers in a holistic-science-based approach to educating children.
At Enkindle Academy, we recognize that the world is structured according to divine geometric principles which underlay everything from how a plant grows, to how a human develops, to the movements of the stars and planets, to the patterns of human history, to economic cycles, amongst others. When we recognize this living geometry, we can consciously create according to it, and this is the genius that will eventually solve big world problems. Thus do we structure our lessons and blocks according to this knowledge, that our students become the torch bearers of a new earth culture which sustains and nourishes all life.
Students will absorb it, consciously or not. By participating in these lessons, this living creativity will grow in them to become creativity, capability, and compassion. When students' souls are enkindled, they feel enthused (en-theos = filled with the divine). We repeatedly receive letters of gratitude from parents who are also enthused, because when your child is happy so are you.
