Who is this class for?

This class is for young writers ready to be enkindled through a love of language!

Diving deeply into the history of language, we will learn to use words like paintbrushes and color, composing masterful works of literary art. Whether their persuasion is poetry, short stories, longer stories, manga/comics, plays, or more, this is a place for them.

In addition, there are Brain Gym Exercises to foster focus and creativity.

Students will be asked to try new things, stretching, shaping, and molding themselves into well-rounded wordsmiths.

Play will join with consistent effort to create mastery. As Friedrich Schiller says, “Play makes us fully human, and we are only fully human when we play.”

Homework will be given between classes which will include writing and, in some cases, also reading.
