Entrepreneurship

June 8th-26th

Mon, Wed, and Fri/ 1-2pm EST

3 weeks/ 9 sessions total

This class is suitable for any student with an inclination or even a mild interest in business.

Many homeschoolers start small businesses even in middle school. Here, we will get into the nuts and bolts of what is required to make it sustainable and successful.

Some examples of current student businesses include Etsy shops, candle making, jewelry, car cleaning, and more. Homeschooling allows for this creative freedom, and this class will build upon business math already taught in the curriculum.

History's Unsolved Mysteries

June 8th - 26th, 2026

Mon, Wed, and Fri/ 1-2pm EST

3 weeks/ 9 sessions total

By popular request, we are offering this 10-session class on history's unsolved mysteries. For example, was Atlantis real or just a myth? What does the archaeological evidence, combined with the predictions of seers and psychics, suggest? How about the Bermuda triangle? Why have ships and planes gone off course and even disappeared never to be heard from again?

All of this and more we will explore in great detail in this class. Students will be presented with each mystery and a diversity of perspectives and explanations for them. Then, they will get to debate the merits of each. This class promises to take students down rabbit holes many of them have long dreamed about. Students will also be challenged to do their own research on the topics, and perhaps even make presentations of their own.

This is not a heavy academic class, but it is one to stimulate their desire for hidden knowledge. Where they go with it from there is up to them.

Recorder and Irish Whistle

July 6th-24th

Mon, Wed, and Fri/ 1-2pm EST

3 weeks/ 9 sessions total

Learn to play the recorder and whistles in a variety of styles including classical-Baroque, Irish, and piper’s style.

No prior experience necessary (though, if we have a large spread in ability level, we may open up additional sections). The ability to read music is not required, only the ability to follow along by watching the teacher’s playing.

Taught by expert player and teacher, Nicholas "The Bard" Andrea
