Description of Live Where in the World Class:

This class is for students interested in traveling the world! It is also appropriate for students interested in travel journalism, travel blogging, and photography. Short of actually visiting the places we hear about, students will go on imaginative and artistic journeys around the world including:

1. Scotland/Ireland

2. Italy

3. Norway

4. South Korea

5. Ghana

6. Mexico

7. Costa Rica

8. Egypt/Iraq

9. Greek Ruins 

These destinations are not set in stone - they are flexible, depending on student interest. However, these destinations will be presented in story-form, and students will reflect on them artistically either through writing or drawing or both. They will create a kind of travelogue as if they, themselves, were in these places. Students will also learn about travel journaling and be asked to document their own journeys.

Brain gym and practicing some words and phrases from the place we are visiting

Sharing of homework:

Students share their travel journals from the past week

New destination:

A new destination will be presented in story form

Homework:

Students will create a new travel journal entry in the next week based on our class together
