Description of Live Entrepreneurship Class:

This class is suitable for any student with an inclination or even a mild interest in business. What is business, anyway? My definition of business, or I should say of a good business, is a creative entity that contributes to the development of brotherhood on planet earth. In other words, it is creating a sustainable entity with a four-part bottom line serving: people, planet, profit, and purpose. This class will explore this four-part bottom line, how to setup a business, and how to make it sustainable.

After spending some weeks establishing the ethos and ideas for our businesses, we will focus on understanding money. How does money work? How do we avoid working for money but instead work in order to learn and then make money work for us? To aid us, we will read and study Robert Kiyosaki’s bestselling book, Rich Dad Poor Dad

In the final weeks, we will explore the practical steps of setting up a business. The goal is that by the end of the 12 weeks, students will feel informed and inspired, should they choose to setup a business now or in the future.
