Archetypes of the period including artists, adventurers, saints, monarchs, and warriors
In this block, we build an understanding of the world before the great change of the Industrial Revolution hits. We start to see trends, like the shift from rural to urban life and the decline of medieval feudalism. One can feel we are on the edge of a massive shift.
We also hear about the iconic English figure Shakespeare and how modern English started with him, believe it or not. We hear about the attire of actors and actresses at the time, performance spaces, and we write one of his most famous sonnets, Sonnet 94, which portrays the character that any great initiate would have.
