• In this block, we explore the rich diversity of Asian cultures, religions, economics, landscapes, and ways of life. We begin with a survey of cultures by region and their relationships with the landscapes in which they have developed.

• Following that (and since we are in 8th grade), we explore Asian cultures and economics in the context of the whole world.

• Finally, we will explore Asian Communism and compare and contrast it with Western Capitalism which will lead us to discovering a third alternative from India called PROUT which could bring lasting prosperity to the planet at large.
